Der Sänger, Gitarrist und Songwriter von THE METROSHIFTER mit seiner zweiten Solo Platte. Iss so wie ich mir das vorgestellt habe, ohne auch nur irgendwas drüber gewusst zu haben. Seichte Beats, seichte Gitarrenakkustikchords, seichtes Lalala. Langweilt mich zu Tode. Für nen Abend auffem Bärenfell vorm Kamin bei Rotwein oder wahlweise Traubensaft. (b)

KAAOS - Ristiinnaulittu Kaaos LP (Havoc / Fight Records) 8.- €
Das meint Felix: "This killer LP was originally released by Barrabas Records in Finland in 1984. Fight and Havoc continuing our long standing partnership to re issue classics of Finnish hardcore teamed up to re press this classic. Kaaos were one of the foremost Finnish hardcore bands of the 80s along with Rattus, Terveet Kadet, Appendix, Bastards and Riistetyt. Kaaos has the trademark Finnish 80s sound, fast buzzsaw thrash riffs, reverby vocals, all over the placedrumming, and plodding bass. This re press has reproduced the original Crass style poster sleeve and contains three bonus tracks not on the original. Fight and Havoc also teamed up to re issue the Kaaos NukkeEP which is still available from Havoc. Also worth checking out is the Kaaos Totaalinen KaaosLP/CD on Hohnie records which features their classic early 7and comp material. Kaaos continued into the 90s and 21st century and has several new releases on Fight Records as well as CDs versions licensed to Brazil." (b)

Die erste 7" dieser Band aus Hamburg. Muckemässig irgendwo zwischen CHISPA und CHISPA (ähm) angesiedelt, aber nicht die ganze Zeit so abgedreht. "Genug" hat am Anfang ein Hammer-riff wie es richtige Metaler kaum hinbekommen. Cover iss cool, kommt mit kleinem Textheft und wird wohl Leute, die auf ne Chaos/Emo Mischung stehen gut reinlaufen. Sound iss auch sehr prall. (b)

Die letzte 7" der Band auf DAY AFTER war ein richtiger Hammer - eigentlich das beste was für meine Ohren jemals auf dem Label rausgekommen war. Die Band hat in ihrer Geschichte schon einige musikalische Wandlungen durchgemacht und so klingt das neue Teil auch wieder etwas anders. Mehr Riff and Roll-Elemente wie man sie von ENTOMBED kennt. (b)

KILL THE MAN WHO QUESTIONS / DEL CIELO - split E.P. 7" (Ed Walters) 3.- €
Ich kann jetzt eigentlich nicht genau sagen, ob sich KTMWQ schon aufgelöst haben, die letzte 7" hab ich auch nie gehört, aber der Kram hier klingt wesentlich aggressiver als das, an was ich mich erinnere. Der BORN AGAINST Touch der ersten 7" ist durch AMERICAN NIGHTMARE Anteile ersetzt werden - jedenfalls klingt das so für mich. 3 flotte Songs gibt’s zu hören. DEL CIELO ham zwei Songs am Start und wollen soundmässig jetzt gar nicht zu KTMWQ passen. Der erste Song ist von der Mucke her ein melancholisches Liebeslied, vorgetragen mit glassklaren Female Vocals. Warum mich ich da an KILL ROCKSTARS denken, kein Plan. Die Zweite Nummer is Schrammel Pop, der an alte LOOKOUT Bands erinnert teilweise mit doppelten female vocals. Das klingt alles eher süsslisch und nach Poesiealbum. Aber jo. (b)

Ex-OUTSPOKEN Jungs, die rausgefunden ham, dass BL'AST! ne geile Band waren und das auch so versuchen zu machen... schon unverschämt irgendwie... haha. (b)

KILL YOUR IDOLS - For Our Friends 10" (Life Line Records) 8.50 €
Auch bekannt als die "one-sided, silk-screened 'Skull' 12". Gewohnt guter Hardcore sound mit starkem Negative Approach Touch. (b)

KILLSADIE - Experiments In Expectation LP (Dim Mak) 4.50 €
Die beiden 7" der Band fand ich recht gut, vor allem eine hatte ein super cover artwork, aber in meinem Chaos find ich die grad nicht mehr. So, musikalisch liegen die irgendwo zwischen SWIZ (wahrscheinlich gefallen sie mir deshalb so gut), den letzten REFUSED Sachen, MY BLOODY VALENTINE und INK & DAGGER. Coole Arrangement, coole Songs, druckvolle Aufnahme - geile Platte. Die Band hat sich schon 2001 aufgelöst und die Leute spielen mittlerweile bei Pretty Girls Make Graves, Minus the Bear, Sharks Keep Moving, On Alaska und ein paar anderen. Das Ding iss nur auf 500 Kopien limitiert. (b)

KITTY EMPIRE - For a fraction of a second LP (Dancing in the Dark) 2.- €
Nach einer recht angenommen 10" jetzt die erste LP im Klappcover. Aufgenommen wurde in den Elch Studios, wie ich grad sehe - dort wurden auch schon MONOCHROME, MINE, DAWNBREED und etliche mehr mit nem guten Klangbild versehen. Mucke geht grob in Richtung NOTWIST. Bisschen melancholisch..und so.. ne?! (b)

KNIFE FIGHT - Burning Bridges 7" (My War Records) 3.50 €
Grad richtig als Einstimmung zur bald anstehenden Tour, die zweite 7" der Band, deren Message sich in etwa auf "Fuck you, I don't care what you say!" zusammenfassen lässt - und die wird in jedem Song verkündet :-) Dazu gibt's ne Mischung aus Boston Old School - kann man sich so vorstellen, als wenn SLAPSHOT mal nen dreckigen Sound gehabt hätte gemixt mit NEGATIVE APPROACH. Yo, rockt. (b)

Restock - die erste 7". "KF are from Southern California, play sick, uncompromising, burly hardcore that will knock your ass in the grass. They started getting shit together at the end of 2001 and recorded their 5 song demo in March 2002. After playing some gigs in support of the demo and some lineup changes, they recorded their 11 song self titled 7” EP in December 2002 for My War Records and toured the country with Mental in the Summer of 2003. When KNIFE FIGHT aren’t assaulting your eardrums with their wall of noize…Jon plays guitar for STREET TRASH, Graham plays guitar for ANNIHILATION TIME, Greg plays bass for STAND AND FIGHT and Charlie sniffs glue."

They took up instruments that they newer had played before to get the right sound and started jaming to get the same sound as it were in the 80´s. There influences is taken from Grisen Skriker, Ursch, Asta Kask, Ebba Grön and they mixed it with influeces from other countrys as well, you can hear the sound of Xray Spex and other american new wave band in the music as well. This is a must have for all you lovers of old Swedish Punk. The members can also be seen in bands as International Noise Consperacy, Totalt Jävla Mörker, Oktobr or Royal Downfall. KONTROVERS - När Spelreglerna ändras CD (Putrid Filth Conspiracy) 8.- €
Und wieder ne neue Full-length von KONTROVERS aus Schweden. Irgendwie hab ich das Gefühl, die werden in ihren Songs immer ausgereifter, wobei sie ihrem Schweden D-Beat treu bleiben. Hier ein paar ergreifende Gitarren-Leads, da etwas Atmosphäre. Guter Sound - Schwede halt. Gesang is auch cool, erinnert ab und zu an SKITSYSTEM - nix proll, sweete Verzweiflung. (b)

KRIGSHOT - ... Och Hotet Kvarstär 7" (Sound Pollution) 4.20 €
Schon zich mal im Vertrieb gehabt, geht immer noch, weil einfach geil. Highspeed D-Beat Shit von diesen Leuten von NASUM und TOTALITäR. MOB 47 der späten neuziger, nur ohne Kegelbahnbesitzer in der Band. (b)

KUNGFU RICK - Coming to an end LP (625 Thrashcore) 8.- €
Auffem Textblatt steht, dass dies die letzten KFR Aufnahmen wären, was ich jetzt doch ein bisschen schade finde, den langsam hat sich die Kombo mit den vier Sängern zu ner feinen Band gemausert. Erste Lp war noch geht so, das üben wir noch mal, aber auf den letzten 7"es oder splits iss das immer besser geworden. Das hier iss geiler Krach (Mix aus Metal und Powerviolence - sprich irgendwas zwischen alten bekannten Bremen Bands und Slap A ham Shit), mit nem geilen Sound und gut gemacht. Jep. (b)

Keine Ahnung ob das nun ne Nachpressung oder ein Bootleg ist, jedenfalls kommt die Scheibe mit nen super schlecht opierten s/w Cover. Ist wohl die Erste. (r)

KYLESA - Delusion On Fire 7" (Scorched Earth Policy) 2.50 €
Hier noch zwei weitere Songs, die während der letzten Studiosession der Band aufgenommen wurden. Die zwei anderen sind auf ner 7" auf Prank. "Delusion on Fire" ist ein eigenes Stück, das in einer anderen Version schon auf der schnell vergriffenen Super Sabato 12" zu hören war, Clutches ist ein Coversong von NAUSEA. Klingt nach KYLESA wie eh und je - düster, heavy, schmutzig und desillusioniert :-) (b)

Die erste Lp der DAMAD Nachfolgeband mit Pushead Cover. Düster und zerstörerisch und akokalyptisch. Gefiel mir am anfang nicht so sehr, nach dem ich jetzt die neue split mit CREAM ABDUL BABAR gehört hab musste diese lp auch noch mal dran glauben. Jo, jetzt hat's gezündet, find's mitterweile richtig gut. (b)
