Die England Pressung vonner letzten E.T.A. 7". Jo, fetzt ne, skatecore, ne... aber irgendwie die erste war immer noch die beste (heul - haha). Ne, rockt schon - kein Ding. (b)

E-150 / ZANUSSI - split 7" (La Vida es Un Mus Records) 2.- €
Alter schwede. E-150 sind mittlerweile supergeil. Die ersten 7"es, warne noch jo, iss okay, aber hier kickt jeder Song. Das iss LOS CRUDOS in gut. ZANUSSI ham nach ihrer ersten 7" auch noch einen draufgepackt und brügeln in bösem Slap A ham style meets klassischem Südeuropäischen Hardcore. Böses Massaker. Kommt jeweils mit Texten auf spanisch und englischen Übersetzungen, als auch einem Poster. Ach ja, und sie covern sich noch gegenseitig. Also E-150 is echt der shit. (b)

EBOLA (U.K.) / JINN - split LP (Totenschiff) 6.- €
Die letzten Aufnahmen von den englischen EBOLA. Wie immer würd ich sagen. JINN iss die neue Band vom Ebola Gitarrist Micky und dem Sänger von 30 SECONDS UNTIL ARMAGEDDON. Geht irgendwie in die gleiche Richtung wie EBOLA. UK Thrashcore mit dem typischen rauen englischen Gitarrensound. (b)

Restock - noch mal paar reinbekommen. EBOLA sind so spitze und Hammer wie auf ihrer eigenen 7" (schneller, geiler UK-Thrash), SERVITUDE okay (schwere NAUSEA Einflüsse). (b)

Das Cover von der Ep der Japaner iss absolut grotte, aber die Mucke rockt wie dei Mudda. Klingt stark nach DROP DEAD. (b)

EFFIGY / HAVAISTYS - split 7" (Whispers in the Darkness / distributed by Hardcore Holocaust) 2.90 €
HAVAISTYS is from Helsinki, Finland and play guitar heavy-riffed crust with throaty gruff vocals and political lyrics. EFFIGY is from Japan of course, as this is not the first record we've seen by them. They play metal influenced crusty thrash in the vein of AXEGRINDER, OR AMEBIX. A cool split!!! (?)

Vielleicht schon bekannt von den Hammer-splits mit SEWN SHUT und AGATHOGLES. Superb old school grindcore. Das iss die Vinyl version der CD auf Razorback. (b)

Wie erwartet rockt das Teil gut nach vorne los... Bislang das am kompaktesten wirkende Werk der Finnen wie ich finde. Catchy! (b)

E: ist hier sehr ruhig, hat mich total verwirrt, nicht mehr so aggressiv wie ich die andern Platten erlebt habe. Sehr ruhig alles hier. I: schwerer metalmässiger HC. Aggro und heavy. Assi einfach !! (r)

EU'S ARSE - 1981-1985 LP (625 Thrashcore) 8.- €
"EU'S ARSE was one of the early breed of frantic and raw punk bands coming out of Italy in the early 80s. I was turned on to them when one of my friends (reknowned for his int'l tape collection) dubbed me what he had from them back in high school. I was blown away... In the late 90s there was a bootleg comp CD that came out with old Italian HC singles, bands like PEGGIO PUNKS, IMPACT, etc were included... and for the first time, the EU'S ARSE stuff was heard by a whole new generation. I was lucky enough to be brought into this project by Mila from Agipunk in Italy, who brought up the idea of doing it as a split label release in order for the material to be available in the US as well. I will only be getting 500 copies (of the first press at least) but I'm really glad that this is happening. This also flies in the face of what has become really common these days, labels doing bootlegs without putting in the footwork to find the members.
